Raam doesn't appear after I start sharing

Tap Raam, then tap Start Broadcast in the screen-sharing sheet (choose Raam there if another app is selected). Raam then floats in a Picture in Picture window. If nothing appears, check that Picture in Picture is allowed in Settings › General › Picture in Picture. If it still won't appear, stop sharing, start again from Raam, or restart your iPhone to clear a stuck Picture in Picture window.

Translation is not appearing

Check that screen sharing is still on (the red indicator at the top of the screen) and that the text is clearly visible, not covered by Raam's window. Make sure the language you're reading is downloaded in Raam's list, or choose Auto-Detect to read every downloaded language at once. The first translation in a new language can take a moment while iOS gets ready.

A language says it needs downloading

Raam uses Apple's on-device translation. Tap the language in Raam's list and accept iOS's download. Downloaded languages are managed in Settings › Apps › Translate.

How do I stop sharing?

Tap the red recording indicator at the top of the screen, or Raam's red screen-sharing control.

Free minutes and Raam Unlimited

Raam reads for free for 10 minutes a day. Raam Unlimited removes the limit. Subscriptions are handled by Apple: manage or cancel them in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, and restore purchases from Raam's settings. For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Does Raam upload my screen?

No. Screen frames, the text Raam recognises and its translations are all processed on your iPhone and are never sent to us or anyone else. See the privacy policy for details.
